I’m not talking about Disneyland, even though some of the benefits of living in Denmark might sound like they’re out of a fairytale, and they might have many people considering living here.

Since 2012, Denmark has consistently had top rankings in the list over the happiest places in the world, something that probably came as a shock to many Danes. Most of us didn’t really know we were that happy!

I have always been a dog person. Even as a small child, I yelled at my parents when the street-dogs in our vacation spot couldn’t come back to the hotel with us.

I’ve had dogs almost all of my adult life, but the last couple of years I’ve been dog-less, and this list may or may not have been inspired by my own behavior.
